Where can I sell vinyl records?

by lindseyranes on March 26, 2010

My mom has a bunch of old ones and she was wondering where would be a good place to sell them online? (besides ebay of course). Possibly some online place that specializes in buying them?

Just be forewarned. You will not get market value from record collectors or dealers. Collectors want them cheap, and dealers want to make a profit. If you want to know the value, my suggestion is to purchase a guidebook (Jerry Osborne) because most dealers/collectors rarely give out that kind of information. You might want to read this to learn more.

Hope this is of some help.

Hang on to those vinyls. They will continue to rise in value, especially the 45s. If they have printed sleeves like with the band on it, the sleeve is worth more than the record. It’s like baseball cards, the better condition they are in the more they are worth. Check out the site the first guy recommrnded or search for another one. Be careful. It’s very easy to get ripped off.
