Led Zeppelin Vinyl Records
If you were already alive in the 60’s, there is no way you did not hear of Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham. Alright, you may not have heard of them individually but cumulatively they are known as Led Zeppelin. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame called them “the most influential band of the 70’s as Beatles was of the 60’s”. The highly popular Rolling Stones magazine described Led Zeppelin as “the biggest band of then 70’s”, “the heaviest band of all time”, and “undeniably one of the most enduring bands in rock history”. They are ranked as number one on VH1’s 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock. And these are just to name a few of Led Zeppelin’s musical achievements. Furthermore, all of their albums reached the top ten of the best selling album charts and six of these albums made it all the way to number one. Can you just imagine how popular they were?
All of their albums were and are still as awesome as ever. On unique quality of Led Zeppelin is they never marketed their albums based on singles but engaged their fans on album-set rock. And the enduring thing about this is even after their drummer – John Bonham’s death in 1980, their albums still sold in ridiculously huge quantities. The recruitment of each member of the band was colorful enough to really put Led Zeppelin into the rock and roll map. Originally jamming it up with equally great Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page by chance and because some individuals were not available, was able to from a group that we now know as Led Zeppelin. A former member of the original pre-Led Zeppelin group and at the same time the bassist and drummer for the famous British band The Who John Entwistle mentioned that a supergroup composed of him, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page would most likely conk out and go down like a lead zeppelin a term Entwistle always used to illustrate a bad gig. And that is how the name Led Zeppelin came to be. And their commercial onset was even a big success. Vouched for by Dusty Springfield, Led Zeppelin got the biggest musical deal of all from Atlantic Records without even making an appearance at the head office.
And these albums were originally recorded on vinyl records. These Led Zeppelin vinyl records sold like hotcakes. Their second album entitled Led Zeppelin II outsold the first album and is up to now still considered as the pattern for all heavy metal bands today. Even if you are not a heavy metal fanatic, you have got to have these Led Zeppelin vinyl records.
