When the devil messes with you that is playing with Jesus. When Saul was persecuting Jesus Holy asked why do you persecute me. This is done at least Your breatheren is done to Jesus. When people receive they get Jesus. This is done for you by the devil is in Jesus.
And Jesus does not put up with the devil. The only way Jesus put up with the devil is whether you put up with him. All power (authority) was given to Jesus in heaven and on earth Go therefore (in his name). Jesus gave you power (authority) over all the power (capacity) of the devil. And whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Know whose name (authority) you walk in. and what you ask (demand / control) in the name of Jesus that Jesus would do. Like when Paul commanded the devil to leaving women in the name of Jesus and did it. You command the devil in Jesus' name and he must obey. On behalf of (authority) of Jesus every knee bends.
Jesus saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning because he is the one who cast him out. Devil May have thought it was free of Jesus after his crucifixion, but surprise! Jesus is still walking the earth through us. Great is he who is in you than he who is in the world. The devil is no match for Jesus. And there no match for you when you come against him in the name of Jesus.
The devil knows those who come against him in the name (the Authority) Jesus. They know because they must obey. God put all things under his feet (the authority) of Jesus. Jesus is the head and you are a member of his body. While things are under the feet of Jesus, they are also in you.
Whatever you do in word and deed do all in the name of Jesus. Live the authority of Jesus. Jesus put his spirit in you and gave you the authority. So believe in Jesus and do his work. So when you come against the devil in Jesus' name, it is not you come against him, but Jesus.
